Technology in the Classroom

Welcome!

Technology is playing an ever increasing role in education. Students interact with technology while off the campus, so integrating this technology into classrooms will simply make it very easy for them to learn. Technology provides educators effective ways to teach and reach different types of students. Technology can also bond the relationship between teachers and their students. It is also important to incorporate modern technology in classrooms as a way of preparing students for the outside tech demanding jobs and tasks. Now every job will require some skills of technology, so it is very important to bring this technology in the classroom and to incorporate it into the all educational curriculum. Through the use of free educational tools which allow students the ability to access academic information every student will have the ability to gain knowledge. It is important to use technology in the classroom because it provides easier access to educational materials, it motivates students, it increases participation, and at times it makes learning easier.

It is my goal to incorporate as much technology as possible into the classroom and into the curriculum. Technology that will be used in the classroom will be:

  • Google Chrome Books
  • Educational Programs that provide an avenue for differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs that get students excited about learning while providing useful feedback to inform instruction
  • Educational Games that are fun an interesting and provide an interactive way to build skills that students enjoy
  • Smart Board Technology
  • Google Docs for submitting assignments
  • thebeerman.educatorspages.com for classroom related communincation and information

I look forward to an exciting year of fun, learning, and exploring while using the best of technology to support this adventure!
